how do we feel about the new look?

i feel reinvigorated when it comes to Run It Back. with the renewed excitement comes new energy. even though we’re around 2.5 years of Run It Back, it feels like we’re just getting started

what sparked the change was realizing how i was using my time during unemployment. it’s a typically slow time for companies to hire and with all the hiring freezes / layoffs and the job pool is small

along with applying for jobs and going to the gym, what else was i doing? playing video games a lil too much 🤪

i asked myself, what could i do with my time instead? the answer was in front of me all along: Run It Back

so expect some big things on the horizon. we’re only just getting started

and with that, let's get to the music for the week ❤️‍🔥

i love love love live albums. i have a newfound appreciation for them after appreciating the coordination that goes involved. if you mess up, you have to start all over again! everyone’s gotta be lockstep to make it work

back to Faye: she’s recorded at the legendary Electric Lady, recorded a follow-up with a 24 piece orchestra, and is now live streaming with said orchestra + live show afterwards in mid-December?

i wish more artists did this.

this is one of my favorite sounds i’ve discovered as of late. this specific song is such a vibe. it sneaks up on you

it starts off slow but slowly burns as more and more layers get added. you look up and you realize that 7ish minutes have flown by and you don’t even know it
